reglueing ( ? ) existing flooring

was in a lead's home the other day who's got wood strip flooring on conc - its ' hollow ' & lost adhesion in several spots for some reason but no wtr presence,,, is it POSSIBLE to inject adhesive thru the wood to reestablish contact & eliminate the sound AND flex ? if its not, is there a genl trade practice to accomplish this goal ? or is the solution replace ? ? ?

thanks, guys !

If it is not due to moisture, probably worth a try. Drill a tiny hole, squirt in some adhesive, weight down the floor, then fill in the hole with a wax pencil.

i see u're in Atl... go to georgia Oak flooring on Jimmy Carter blvd and ask for epoxy shots....you also need the gun from them... The shots are two component and they come with a nozzle and the drill bit for it... all you need to do is drill a couple of holes in the affected area, pump maybe half a shot in each and stand on the spot for 2 minutes. then fill the hole with matching color putty, which the store also has...
and you're done... it holds 4ever....
Careful not to make a mess on the floor with the epoxy, cause it dries lightining fast and it's avery tough to remove.... have a clean rag close at all times....

they make a epoxy patch kit just for that. you can get them at most wood floor stores. not to expensive. good luck.
