Refinishing hardwoods
I've been waiting to do my baseboards and move my furniture into my house til I refinish the hardwoods. However, Its been something I've had to put off doing for a while now. I would have to put it off for at least another week or so too. What I am asking is, at this point, colder weather here in New England and all, should I just do the baseboard now and wait til spring to do the floors and be extra careful around the baseboards when I do? Any harm in leaving the floors with ALMOST no finish left at all through the winter? The rooms are a living/quite room - not the TV room - which will not be used all that much, and the hall leading down to the bedrooms.

Refinishing hardwoods
I would just do it and get it over with. If you use a water base finish then there will be little to no off gassing and you can walk on it in as little as 4 hours. There is nothing wrong with doing it in the winter. It is actually better as it is lower in humidity.
Just my opinion, Dave.
