Reasonable Quote on Tile Floors?

I am looking at getting ceramic tile floors installed in my apartment. I have called around and only obtained one full quote so far. Just wondering how reasonable this sounds to anyone who knows.

$6.50 a sq ft. for the tile installation

On 425 sq ft. the total price for 18x18 tiles, backerboard installed, bullnose trim, 2 toilets removed and re-installed, carpet removal and disposal, etc.. etc.. basically everything.

Total price is $6,300 without bullnose and $7,000 with.

oh yeah... the material cost may be more here in Hawaii but how does this sound? ALSO, if anyone in the area has any experience with contractors here let me know. Thanks!

Nick

Reasonable Quote on Tile Floors?

For everything it sounds close.
Not too outrageous.
I am sure prices in Hawaii are close to Alaska.
