Re Post on floor Vibrations - HELP!!
House built in 60s , hardwood floors with crawl underneath. My floors, when anyone including my 70lb dog walk in certain spots, they vibrate. i have been told to install sister joist (2x2) and drill up in an angle with it through the floor, to use liquid nails etc... not sure what to do. the underneath(joists) are in good shape. i assume the subfloor has pulled away from the joist.
how do i correct this? Last edited by stambam; 03-02-2007 at 11:22 AM. Reason: duplicate |

Re Post on floor Vibrations - HELP!!
Try some of these, I've never tried them, but they have different varieties, one of which is for use when the finished floor is hardwood.
