Radiant Heat and Cold Basement Floor

Hi all - long time reader first time poster.

I'm putting down a radiant heat floor under my new tile in a basement bathroom. I've decided to go with the Suntouch radiant heating pad package. My question is this -

1. All reviews of the Suntouch product look good on homedepot.com, anyone have any experience with it?

2. Should I lay down the insulating cork below or will it be fine without?

3. If I don't put the cork down, will the floor be noticably warmer or will I waste my money? I live in Colorado.

Thanks

Radiant Heat and Cold Basement Floor

I put in a very similar system in my kitchen, but used no cork or any other insulation under the tile. My install included wire in thinset over subfloor, Ditramat over the subfloor, then stone over the Ditramat. I did insulate the basement ceiling using foil covered bubble insulation (not sure exactlly what it is called, comes in long rolls at HD), but I am not sure it really makes the floor above any warmer. I will say the kitchen floor feels great in the winter. Also, the foil based bubble wrap keeps the aliens from reading my thoughts when I am working in the basement, so I guess that is a plus.
