Quote For Laying Flooring

My in-laws just had this type of flooring laid, it was the type that has 5mm of solid oak on top of a laminated board, about 30 square metres, £3000 supplied and laid.
I always fit my own as it isn't hard and after seeing what a bodge this firm did I wish they had let me do theirs!
They didn't remove skirtings for instance, just put tacky lengths of fake oak trim to fill gaps and didn't saw under door frames to get the boards right under either. i would definitely recommend finding out just how it will be expected to look on completion before they start.

Cheers
