Quarter round and baseboard


I want to ask if can i install quarter round onto the wall without the baseboard or do i have to install it with the baseboard?

There's no reason why you can't, it's just not normally done that way. I see it from time to time, and it looks okay for certain situations, it's just not typical. If the room is drywalled, the factory bevel on the bottom of the drywall will be obvious.
