putty to secure rugs?

Okj here the down and dirty. i have some rugs that are about 6' x 10' that i need to prevent from sliding on a Terrazzo floor. they slip like crazy. i am leaning towards huge rug backers. Tape is out has i have a new to pull these up once a quarter to clean under them. Anyone heard of using a putty ( kind of like the stuff they use to hang posters) . i am thinking i may be onto something here?

putty to secure rugs?

Nothing is wrong with the rug backer idea. but my boss wants a couple of ideas to work from. at home i use rug backers. i was hoping the putting would just prevent the carpet from slidding but be easy to peel off.

Terrazzo is one of the softest poris tiles you can use.
A putty is just going to smoosh in and make a mess!.
