Proper tape for underlayment seams

Hello all,
I'm laying floormuffler on an above grade concrete slab & it says to tape the seams using a tape that meets or exceeds the manufacturers moisture vapor transmission rate (1.39 lbs. per 1000 square feet per 24 hours).
I have a roll of Scotch pro-strength industrial & hvac duct-tape
http://solutions.3m.com/3MContentRet...ersion=current & am wondering if this will do the job or if someone can recommend something else.
Many thanks.

Proper tape for underlayment seams

Well, this web site:

http://www.shockflooring.com/index.p...roducts_id=127

says that Floormuffler "Exceeds recommended moisture permeability ratings for installation over concrete slabs."

Since any moisture in the slab can evaporate through the Floormuffler, I'm wondering how much of a problem would be created if it couldn't also evaporate out of the small amount of area covered by the taping of the seams. My hunch is that you wouldn't have a problem regardless of what tape you used on the seams.
