project: replace laminate flooring
I had previsouly posted about my project of replacing the glued engineered wood flooring with laminate flooring here (http://www.diychatroom.com/f5/removi...171427/index2/). I finished half of the area last weekend and will be finishing the rest (kitchen/dining area and the half bath) tomorrow.
I have questions regarding replacing the flooring in the half-bath - do I need to remove the toilet and the sink (it is the kind with a small base on the floor)? I have seen a few videos on youtube and they all mention that I should remove the toilet while replacing.
If yes, then what tools would I need to remove and then correctly install the toilet again?
You should not be installing laminite in a bathroom.
It's going to get wet and destrory it and it needs to float, not going to be able to move with a toilet bolted to the floor.
