problem with transition from living room to kitchen
this is a mess...i have a problem with a transition from living room to kitchen that I need advice for.. can you help?.. I can send a pic. don't know if the kitchen floor should be pulled up to be level with living room, etc. Laying down laminate 12.2 ml across from living room into kitchen... should I use a step up transition? but that will make for a trip hazard... the kitchen is about 1/2 inch higher then the living room sub floor... help...thank you, tony

problem with transition from living room to kitchen
Hi Tony,
Apparently you haven't ripped anything yet to prepare for the installation. You need to remove the flooring and any layers of 1/4" ply in the kitchen. Once you're down to the subfloor everything should be the same. Evaluate what you've got at that time and then decide how to proceed. Pics always help. Jaz
