prefinished flooring dulling in high traffic area.

We installed prefinished hardwood flooring approx. 3 yrs ago, and
in an area that there is higher traffic, the finish (sheen) has dulled.

Could anyone advise me as to what I can do?
(Other than put a rug in the area), and how I can fix what is dulled there now?
If I can fix it?

I think you can't do anything. Its a you get what you pay for stituation. Except some do allow a once sanding. But not all. It depends on how thick it is.

It's 3/4 inch planks.

I remember they also told me that it has a 30 year warranty on the planks.
I will have to find out what the really means.

It'll be interesting to see the solution to this. Anyone know what the factury uses for the finish?

many guarantees to wood

it will expand and contract
it will age
it will be affected by moisture
it will scratch

warranties are only on surface abrasion for the finish.
sounds like a possible warranty issue.
you should not see wearing if properly lived on and maintained.
