Porcelain tile pros/cons?

I am planning to renovate our basement into a home office. I was planning to use porcelain floor tile. Are there any advantages/disadvantages to using porcelain tile versus ceramic tile? The basement is dry and I do not anticipate any future problems with water or moisture.

Porcelan is made of finer clay and fired at a higher temp and will hold up better to moisture. Good luck and Happy trails.

Porcelain is much harder to cut and drill than ceramic and certain cuts can be a nightmare.
