Pergo Presto

Is Pergo Presto from Home Depot of good quality? I can't much info on it because apparently only Home Depot sales it. Don't want to make a mistake, since it is a special order to get the color I need.

Sounds like the "Edge" tile at Lowes of a few years ago...it SUX, it's almost all been recalled, the manufacturer is giving full refunds, in many cases, sight unseen on the customer's word. Not saying that it IS that bad, but that's (that being the "Edge flooring system") the first thing I thought of after reading your post. Research it all you can and hope for the best if you do decide to use it. Good Luck.

BTW, I know it's not ceramic or immitation ceramic...it's a totally different type of floor, that was just my first thought when I read the name..."Hey here's a quick, easy, great way to spruce up your home..blah blah blah"...just MHO

This stuff is made by Pergo for Home Depot in New Jersey. It is a much poorer quality that "real" Pergo. The real stuff is 3 times thicker on the surface layer. This Home Depot stuff moves and shifts on the floor, gaps, the corners chip off. Ask me how I know .. I spent $2800 of this junk and would not recommend it to anyone. I am very suprised that Pergo even puts their name on it.

I have been doing home improvement for a lot of years ... I know I installed it to the specs they wanted. It is just a very poor quality.

Spend a little more and get the real stuff ... Good Luck
