Painting basement floor, Drylok vs other?

Hi,
I will be painting the basement floor, mostly to help sweep up dust and to keep any dust down in the areas I carpet with wall-to-wall carpeting.


Are there any issues I should be concerned with if I use the Drylok floor paint? It's about $27 a gallon, and it seems on par with everything else like BM's floor and patio.


If the cost is the same, and they will both keep dust down...wouldn't the added waterproofing" of the drylok give a ebnefit of using the drylok?


Of course, I may be missing something???
