Painted Concrete Floor

I have just finished my walkout basement and intend on putting a laminate floor down within a couple of years. I was wondering if I painted the floor with floor paint as a temporary floor covering can I install the laminate right over top when I am ready?

Painted Concrete Floor

I painted my basement floor 15 years ago. I recently asked the same question and was told not to worry about it. I also plan to put down a laminate flooring
