Outgassing from new hardwood flooring

Hi,

My boyfriend and I just bought a new home with Bruce solid gunstock flooring and new carpet. The hardwood floors are outgassing I guess from the varnish they use to seal it and it is really irritating my respiratory system. Any suggestions as to what to do to get rid of these vapors?

Also having problems from the new carpeting, how long does it take for this to air out?

Thanks for any help.

Hello,

I believe we are having the same problem, with the same Bruce Hardwood flooring. What did you do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
