Old kitchen tile

My condo was built in either 80 or 81... or was it 79? LOL can't remember. But I was told that the original tile (underneath) my current linoleum might contain asbestos and make removal difficult, for obvious reasons. Is there a way to find out?

After 1981, no home furnishings should contain asbestos, so it's unlikely that your tiles did, but you might want to figure out if it was built in 79 versus 81.
