Oak floor squeaking

Hi,
I have oak floors from the late 40s early 50s and have squeaking. In almost every instance I can actually feel the oak floor is what is moving and not the sub floor. Are those screws with the break off heads the best way to remedy this?

Are you 100% sure there even is a subfloor?

Yes. Sub floor boards can be seen from basement for first floor.. Subfloor is individual boards 7.5inches wide and run diagonal. Hardwood is only 2.25" wide.

Try applying some talcum/baby powder into the joints then brushing it in.
