no-glue vinyl sheet over ceramic tile
My bathroom floor is only about 5'X10' and currently 10'' square ceramic tiles in very good physical condition. I want to re-do the floor but not hassle with removing these tiles and underlayment. As long as I fill in/smooth over the grout joints, is there any reason why I can't lay down some no-glue vinyl over it? I used this stuff in my kitchen and absolutely love it. Thoughts...?

I would never use it in a bathroom but it will work until the water ends up getting in under it and causing mold.
I would use glued down and seal the outer edges with silicone before the trim went in.

You have to cut the vinyl 1/4" short of the walls anyway, so fill that with flexible caulk. Then put 1/4 round trim over it, nailed to the wall. It will work fine.
