Newbie to Flooring... Help!

I am planning on laying tile throughout my entire place. I live on a second floor condo, about 750sq. ft. Due to the size of the job I am planning on hiring someone to complete the job.

I have read up on tile and have alot information but you can't beat experience... Anyone have any tips, ideas, info for this type of job? Any reccomendations for materials? I plan on renting this place eventually and I want a floor that will basically be bomb proof with and require little maintenance.

My biggest concern is.. what should I look for/ask when getting an estimate and planning this project.

ps- anyone in the hawaii area(oahu) with a reccomendation. please post.

Get the tempered glass tiles. They are amazing. it would cost you a bit, but hey whatever it would last forever.
