New hardwood - use felt with insulayment?

So, I am just about done with the remodel in my livingroom. Tore it down to the studs. Reframed a new gas fireplace. Installed insulation in all the walls. Ran electrical. Ran speaker wires. Drywall is backup. Painting and window casing is just about done.

I should be able to start the flooring in the coming week. I have already purchased the flooring. I am using Solid Hardwood 5/16th thick.

I was wanted some extra insulation and sound dampening, so the person recommended using insulayment with felt.

I am doing a nail down installation. Is it ok to use insulayment with felt? The insulayment does not have a moisture barrier.

Thanks for the information.
