Need some help! how do I remove durock

I'm replacing my ceramic tiled kitchen floor with hardwood but the durock under the tile is mortared to the osb subfloor. Does this ever come up easily or will I have to cut up the subfloor and replace it? Any help or advice is appreciated the house was built in 2007

You may as well cut down through and replace it all as the durrock/thinset will chunk out the subfloor in flakes. Have fun

Thanks for the info tech dawg but it actually came up pretty easy with VERY minimal damage to the OSB (a little chipping out here and there) And I'm almost done laying the new hardwood. Thanks again!
