Name That Floor?

So I've got concrete floors that I recently uncovered. Part were covered with ratty old carpeting, part with old parquet wood squares and part is currently covered with vinyl peel-and-stick tiles. I want to get the floors to a point where I can make them look like the image above. I will be using bean-e-doo.

Can anyone give me any advice or cautionary information? Also, can anyone guess exactly what the finish is in that picture? Is that epoxy?

ALSO: I have three 50+ pound dogs. Will these floors hold up to them well? I don't it to be too slippery for them as they age either.

And I just found this which looks like some pretty good information: http://www.diylife.com/2008/05/16/st...rete-its-easy/

Thank you,
Nate

Agreed. I figured either stained or epoxied. Thanks.
