My kitchen floor
Hello all,

I'm a newbie here but would really appreciate any help you can give me.

I want to get my kitchen floor redone with vinyl as its my first home and i do not see myself staying here for more than 5 years.

I've been to Carpet-right and Allied carpets today who have quoted ?190 and ?180 respectively for delivery and fitting service.

Does that sound reasonable? The Kitchen is only little, approx 12 sq meters area.
I had a nightmare getting the kitchen installed from a major high St name and want to avoid similar hassle with the floor so any ideas or help would be gratefully received.

For delivery and fitting, it sound very good.

I went to Carpets for less when we had some layed in the bathroom, It cost us ?100 inc. fitting. The bathroom is only 5sq M.

What I would say, and I done tis myself on the first house I renovated, don't go for just the cheapest. You say that you're only going o stay there for 5 years, the last thing you want is to be replacing it when you sell as it's knackered.

Better to pay slightly more and it still be looking good when you sell.

Hello everybody, we had to pull out the shower walls due to finding mold...Thank God it was only one wall. We pulled out all three walls but do not know how to pull the bottom piece/pan you stand on when taking a shower off. How do you pull out the pan/stand off the shower floor? Any helpful suggestion will be appreciated. Thank you all for help.
