motar

motar assumed to be mortar.
Which product is already installed on the floor? What kind of tile; vinyl or ceramic?

They are both already installed. There is about an 1/2 to an 1'' of space between the two.It is ceramic tile.

Thanks

Can I use the Mortar to connect the two together? The ceramic tile floor and the laminate flooring. They are both already installed. There is about an 1/2 to an 1'' of space between the two.It is ceramic tile.

Thanks

I think I get it now; these floors are side by side and you want to transition between them.
You need a transition strip of some sort; to get a good match you would best know the brand name and model/pattern of the laminate floor. That mfg will likely have a transition strip to go between the laminate floor and the tile floor.
See for examples, around page 26:
