Question

Mold resistant thinset

I am a senior. I want a thinset that is mold/mildew resistant to cover approx 95 sq ft., entry with 60 yr old saltillo tiles now on it. basically in good condition with a few high in places maybe 1/4 " the highest.
I will put Allure vinyl planks over the thinset. I would like the best that is easiest to deal with as I will install myself if possible. I have very good grade laminate on both sides of this entry and perfer a product not very liquid. This is floating vinyl. AcrilyPro? was recommended but I can't seem to get and ok on this. I have seen a roll something, Ok some many products, HELP, please.

Mold resistant thinset

Wrong product.

Thinset is for setting ceramic tile---not for leveling a floor.

What you want is Self Leveling Compound----

Bonding the SLC to the Saltillo tile might be an issue----they are coated/sealed and if ever waxed might break the bond---

Stripping the sealer might be needed or dewaxing.
Prime with SLC primer and then pour and spread the leveling compound/
