Minwax Polyurethane vs. Minwax Polyurethane Floors

We are going to stain our wood floors after we sand. What is the difference between the Minwax Polyurethane and the Minwax Polyurethane Floors? Is it worth the extra money in your opinion?

It's got Japan Drier in it to make it dry faster. It's suppose to be harder as well but from what I've seen Minwax polys are softer than many other brands anyway.

I used Minwax Polyurethane Floors on my oak steps, I put 5 coats on the steps, sanded between each coat and sure enough the dog run up the steps and I guess she slipped a bit going up and put a nice gouge in the wood with her claw.

I resanded the step and reapplied, it looks ok.


So I would agree that it is soft.
