I have recently installed Marble Tile in the foyer of my home, I need to know if I need to apply a sealant over it? What will happen if I don't?Thanks!

Yes you need to seal marble. It's a natural stone and is porous. Especially in a foyer, if you have people entering with dirty, wet shoes, that can permeate the stone.
Do yourself a favor and just seal it. This what I recommend:
