I'm refinishing my floors this week. They are partially sanded and I did a test spot of Basic Coatings Emulsion. I was hoping for it to be a little less yellow and have more warmth. I'm going to have to stain.
Right now the entire house has craftsman style baseboard and widow molding that I refinished using General Finishes Antique Cherry (
example). My floors are red oak. I am looking for photos of wood floors with stained baseboard. I'm going to need to stain my floors and I'm pretty sure that I don't want them to be as dark as the baseboard. I don't think the molding would stand out as well. I know it needs to be in the same family of color tone, but I need some visuals.
