looking for ideas for fairly steep floor transition solution
I have to transition between a hardwood floor and a tiled bath floor, 1-1/2 inches over a distance of 8". I was thinking of making a form and pouring a colored cement into it but family members are concerned it will look too "industrial" or quirky. Are there any nice looking ones pre-fabricated that can be cut to width?

You won't be able to buy something like that---However ,,if you could borrow a surface planer you could make something like your illustration on a few minutes---
