Default Linoleum Finish Question

I recently removed laminate flooring tiles that covered my linoleum floor. I used heat to get the tiles up and then Goof Off to get the adhesive off the linoleum, however, the Goof Off removed the finish from the linoleum leaving an ugly, patchy look to the shine. How do I refinish the linoleum to have an even coating and shine? Would buffing it fix the problem?

Its probably Vinyl not Linolium. No way to shine it back up. If it IS Linolium then maybe. See here if it really is Linolium http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linoleum. best be is to replace it.
