Laying tile up to shower

I have got my layout lines for laying floor tile diagonally in the bathroom. I was wondering what is normal procedure for tiling up to the shower unit. It is a fiberglass walk-in unit. Since it will not have a baseboard molding to hide the cut edge, I was planning on doing as clean and accurate cut as possible and applying grout, then caulking after the grout has dried. Any other ideas are welcome.

No grout in that gap...caulk only.
