Laticrete 1776 grout enhancer problem

HELP!!!!!!
I used too much water to clean the grout of my floor tiles during the
grouting process(the mix had no water in it just 1776 enhancer and laticrete sanded grout)
The grout dried almost white
The color should be dark beige
Right now i'm doing the final clean up 24hrs later using a damp sponge and some cheese cloth. The dark tan color returns when damp but as soon as it dries it whitens up
I'm going call the manufacture tomorrow

Order a bottle of colorsealer in the color of your grout and apply. Will give an excellent seal and take care of your problem at the same time.

I go with grout perfect or inject-a-floor systems.

Laticrete 1776 grout enhancer problem

any idea what I did wrong?
How do do you clean up the excess grout with a dry sponge?
I'm thinking if I didn't use the 1776 enhancer and just used plain water in the grout mix I wouldn't have had this problem
DIY can be very costly with the wrong advice(lowe's salesperson)

I haven't used the grout enhancer before, but it shouldn't cause you such problems. Normally your problem is caused by over watering during cleaning. You use a damp sponge, not wet. There are a few products that can help you. Aquamix makes and epoxy grout colorant and sealer that will definitely solve the problem. They also make a cheaper product called Enrich and Seal that will return the color to it just like it does when you wet it now.
