Laminate on stairss

I posted a reply to a thread that was started in '03 in reference to putting laminate on stairs. If this post is redundant, my apolgies, I wasn't sure if anyone would read it.
I want to put laminate on stairs and am not sure how to deal with the rounded bullnose. Any/all suggestions would be appreciated.

Most manufaturers offer the bullnose trim for stairs to match the flooring print you might have purchased. I would venture to guess that you could use laminate throughout your entire downstairs for the same cost as the stairs themselves. Those extra little trim items are outrageously priced. I have seen trim costing much more than a case of the flooring itself many times. But it is one option.

Laminate on stairss

Really?!?! That stinks. The last floor I put in (no stairs), I got the materials from fastfloors.com and was happy. It looks like alot has changed since then. I am looking at:
Manufacturer:ColumbiaSeries:Colonial Clic BeveledSKU No.:MRO102
$4.18 s/f
Any comments? I will have to price out the stair molding. Although I might be crazy, I think the stair run itself is rounded. The moldings loook like they need a square edge.

Thanks for the input.

If a squared edge is needed (I have not made it to my stairs yet) then use a jigsaw? I mean the stuff is going to last decades, what's the harm with cutting?

Nice color choice!
