Laminate snap together layout

Does anyone have any suggestions for laying out laminate snap together flooring? I have about 1000sq/ft to install through 5 rooms and I am concerned about getting everything lined up properly.

I figure I will lay the flooring such that it runs vertically on the diagram above. How do I go from room to room considering the tongue only goes in one direction? If I go from the Private Studio to the waiting room I will have to back track. How does this work? Or do I cut off the bottom of a groove section like with hardwood?

Laminate snap together layout

Hey Bubba,

I'm no expert for sure but I think you maybe over sweating this project. I think doing each room individually would let everything fall into place accordingly. Another thought is what about expansion issues? If the entire floor is tied in together would'nt there be a problem with the expansion of this rather large floor where as buckling will occur over time?

just some food for thought. Best wishes and good luck with this project. Keep us posted.
