laminate over different type of old floors
Hi,
I have a large room (after knocking down a wall) that has old vinyl squares and half old hardwood. I would like to install a floating floor (laminate, click engineered or bamboo) over. How do I prepare this subfloor to ensure flatness/level? thanks! |

Does not need to be level just close to flat and all on the same level.
The pading under it will allow for the floor not not have to be perfect. Want it to look like real wood then use engineered wood not laminite. Laminite to me looks like plastic. |
