Laminate Moisture Barrier
I have a "Florida room" that was walled in by the previous owner and tiled; however the floor is about 2.5" below the rest of the house. I want to install a wooden subfloor to raise it up and then install laminate over that.

Here's the question: do I need to put down vapor block sheeting over the tile before installing the wooden subfloor and laminate?

Yes, you should. Moisture is the number one enemy of wood and laminate flooring.
