laminate floors

I presently have pergo flooring in living room and dining room because I'm on a concrete slab but found that pergo scratches and chips and would like one that would uphold in a kitchen with a lot of traffic. I would appreciate any suggestions.

All laminates can chip and scratch, but better quality ones do it less.
Pergo Select and Wilsonart Estate are the top 2 IMO.

If you have problems with those, then you need to move on to ceramic tile or something.

A good quality laminate is hard to find but they are out there. I would look out for Box Store Products. Go to a retailer and they can show you something better than the Pergo brand.. Pergo is a name, but not the best product made right now.
