Laminate Flooring Transition Question

We'll be installing our Wilsonart laminate floor soon and I have a question regarding what type of transition to use for an adjoining floor that is higher than the laminate floor level. Our kitchen is ceramic tile that was applied to 1/2" plywood on top of the old floor level. This raises the kitchen floor up quite a bit.

I would like to use 6mm of cork, but that would void the manufacturer's warranty (I believe). Still need to call them to verify this. That would raise the floor level up enough so that the final level would be close enough to use a T-mold.

Seems like the reducer transitions are for the laminate floor being the higher level.

Did anyone have a similar situation and how did you resolve it?

Thanks for any suggestions!!

Laminate Flooring Transition Question

yup, a reducer usually used to transition down to vinyl will be used except it will be installed flipped.
so it will go from the tile down to lam.
some trimming may be required.
