Laminate Flooring Questions...

No experience with laminate "hardwood" flooring. Hope someone can help with these questions... (1) Laminate on hallway floor at top of new stairs...laminate nosing strip for top step leaves a "bump" for kids to trip over...is there any way to make a transition in this "floating" floor so there is no bump where the nosing meets the laminate (note: the stairs are still rough...to be real hardwood) (2) want to put a lower track for sliding mirror closet doors on the laminate floor...any issues with doing this? Thanks!!

install the track without screwing thru the lam AND subfloor if you can. that may work.
Even glue that sucker if you want.

Flush stairnosing is available, but not for all brands.
