Laminate flooring over tile

sda Newbie   Join Date: Feb 2010 Posts: 1	Laminate flooring over tile I want to install a laminate floor in the basement. The basement now has 'prees & tile' installed over sealed concrete for the last 30 years. Do I have to install a vapor barrier or is the previously installed tile sufficient? Just Bill Member   Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: Wilmington, DE Posts: 3,097	Laminate flooring over tile Most manufacturers require an isolation membrane of some kind, usually theirs. Follow directions. To not install one may void the warranty.
