Laminate Flooring over Concrete

We are going to be installing laminate flooring over concrete (below grade). What do you recommend for an underlayment. We were told we should use the regular underlayment plus a plastic subfloor system. It looks like mini egg carton. Is this overkill?

Laminate Flooring over Concrete

standard lam pad with a 6 mil poly will be fine.

dont know this egg carton stuff so I cannot say......
