laminate flooring in mobile home

I'm new to posting, so please excuse me if I flub up. Has anyone installed laminate in a mobile home ? How level/flat does the floor really need to be? What's the best way of getting it level? (We had a "releveler" out 6 mos ago, but it only made it better--didn't cure the problem). Also, I've read that you need to install laminate across, rather than parallel to, the joists? Does it matter? I'd appreciate any info or experiences you can share. Thanks, Tralf.

it doesn't matter which way you lay it, but in most moble homes, running it the long way down the length of the home looks best.
1/4 within a 10 foot wingspan usually but you need to check with the manufacturer of whatever you buy
