Laminate Flooring Flowing from Room to Room
We are planning to install laminate flooring in every room except the two bathrooms. Our house is a very open floorplan but in our opinion it would look better to have the flooring layed going one direction in the living room and flowing into the kitchen and then running a different direction in the hall and bedrooms. Here's the question: Do you have to use the transition strips everytime you change directions or since all sides have a tongue or a groove, can you change directions off that. The strips wouldn't look too bad at the doors of the bedrooms but putting one at the start of the hall would look not so good in my opinion.
