laminate flooring bulges
hi, can anyone help?
I saw an answer to a previous post on this, that you need to leave a quarter inch space round floating laminate flooring. We have bulges (blamed it on the puppy for peeing on it, initially), which I now realise is because the floor was layed badly by the previous owner.
My question is - what power tool do you need to cut a thin section from the hard flooring right up against the skirting board?
Many thanks for assistance!
A toe-kick saw would work.
Personal experience: When laminate has been laid without proper clearance at the perimeter that leads to buckling and bulging, the damage is done, and adding the proper clearance won't make it lay flat. You pretty much have to tear it up and start over.
