Laminate floor and underlay

I'm going to replace a carpeted area with laminate floor. I just pulled up the carpet and left the underlay. Is it possible to reuse the carpet underlay for the laminate flooring? Or will I need to change the underlay and get the laminate floor underlay?

The underlay is not that thick (maybe around 3-4mm I'm guessing) and it is relatively clean.

Just looking for a second opinion.

Laminate floor and underlay

Not the same density, the floor will flex to much and loosen up the seams.
If you buy better laminite it will have the padding built in.
