Laminate in bathroom ?

I have laminate floors in my bathroom that was professionally installed. He must have done it right because I haven't had any problems with moisture or water on the floor.

The trim around bathtub is not attached to the tub very well. I want to replace it. Should I glue it to the tub rather than the floor since it is a floating floor?

I've seen to much water puckered laminate to ever recommend it for a bathroom.

Ceramic tile.--I'd guarantee that will take what a bathroom dishes out. --Mike--

Laminate in bathroom ?

I have allergies and the carpet made me breakout everyday. Hard to breathe. We haven't had any pucker yet but you never know.

My question was: How do I connect the quarter round to the tub. All around my house the quarter round has cracks between the wall. Should he have put caulking around the wall? Do I need to do that?

The floor is about five years old and doing great! I get lots of complements on the flooring and the whole house was done.

Why not use tub trim instead of 1/4 round? That's what it is made for.

That is a good idea. I don't know much about laminate floors but the 1/4 round doesn't look very good.
