laminate in basement?

I would like to put laminate flooring in a finished basement. What is the correct way to do this as far as a vapor barrier? Thanks

Thanks. What do you recommend for a vapor barrier, just plastic? How thick? Should i seal the cement or do anything to it before the vapor barrier? Thanks again.

Lol sorry ,couldnt resist.

Just read the install specs on your specific laminate. They will tell you what mil plastic to use or have an underlayment with a moisture barrier built in.

Sealing your floor wont help ,but you want to know the moisture content of your slab before you do anything.
