Question

Konecto letdown

Has anyone had problems with the seams on the floating Konecto flooring when installing it over vinyl? I had decided to use this flooring in a lakehouse until I read some of the problems with the seams. However, most of the problems that I have read about seem to have been with installing it on a concrete floor or wood floor. Any thoughts or suggestions on another type of floor. Thanks RM

Roll the seams with a 100 lb roller.

the problem with this floor is that the instructions left that part out.

Konecto letdown

Thanks for the reply, When a local dealer showed me the product, my first thought was what is going to keep the seams from coming up over a period of time. The subfloor is wood with vinyl on top and I was going to install it over the vinyl. I read one thread where mold had started growing underneath their flooring that was purchased from a local hardware store have you heard of this in the past? I'm not ashamed to admit this, but I can't draw a straight line and was going to try and install this myself. Is this product user friendly? RM

Very user friendly, and does not create mold.
Moisture creates mold.
